Drift Judge FAQ
What is Drift Judge?
Drift Judge is race-day software for drift organizations: judges score on the phone, fans see live qualification/battles pages, OBS can show result infographics automatically, and the race Telegram group gets results plus who is up next.
Who is it for?
Clubs, championships, race organizers, judges, and stream ops. Fans and paddock get read-only live pages. It is not a general social fan app, and it is not a video editor.
How does qualification scoring work?
Judges score LINE, ANGLE, and STYLE. They tap deductions, can mark Fail, and submit. Weights are configurable per race (for example max line 60 / angle 20 / style 20). Championship races can use a judge panel with line-only, angle-only, style-only, or full-course assignments.
Can fans see live results?
Yes. Public live pages show qualification and battles as they happen. Pages are read-only.
Does it work with OBS?
Yes. Qualification and battle result cards can appear in OBS as a browser source when a judge scores. You do not rebuild overlay cards by hand for each result.
Does it post to Telegram?
Yes. Link a race to a Telegram group. When a qualifying attempt is finalized or a battle winner is set, Drift Judge posts the result and tags the drivers who are up next. Scoring still happens in the app, not in chat.
Why not WhatsApp or paper?
Phone scoring is structured (LINE / ANGLE / STYLE). Live pages and OBS cards are race ops, not a chat thread. WhatsApp is chat, not race ops.
Is there a free trial? Do I need a card?
Yes. 3-day free trial, no card required.
What do plans cost?
Skids and fun (Free) is €0 (up to 8 drivers, public share links only). Grassroot is €19/month. GP is €49/month. Prices are tax-inclusive. Annual billing gives 2 months free. Cancel anytime from billing settings.
Is Apex Drift Club / Harbor Arena a real event?
No. Apex Drift Club and Harbor Arena are example/sample races on the marketing site so you can see how live races look. They are not a real event.
Can I import from Excel?
Owners and Admins can import drivers, championships, championship points, races, and qualifying scores from Excel (.xlsx) or CSV. Open Settings → Import spreadsheet, or Drivers → Import. Map columns, review rows, then one commit. Battle brackets, judge deductions, and driver photos are not imported.
